A special thanks to everyone that came to my Holiday farm to table cooking demo and book signing at the Holiday Open House for Longview Farm market in Collegeville, Pa. ( http://www.longviewfarmmarket.org/ Those of you that stopped by got to sample the Holiday dishes I made with the produce from the farm…loved working with their fresh organic Fuji apples, heirloom cranberries, butternut squash, onions and fresh salads! Nothing makes a recipe better than using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients!

As promised here is one of my recipes from the event.
Festive Apples, Cranberries and Chardonnay Saute
(created for Longview Farm Market Farm to Table event)
1 lb fresh local apples peeled, cored and sliced thinly
1/2 pint fresh cranberries
1/2 cup dry Chardonnay
1 tsp cinnamon
4 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
Place thinly sliced apples in saute pan, place over low to medium heat and add in wine, cranberries, cinnamon, honey, Saute until cranberries have popped and apples are tender. Liquid should evaporate. Serve with vanilla yogurt as a dessert or as a side dish to roasted turkey or chicken..
