Nothing makes a recipe better than using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients!

As promised here is one of my recipes from the event.
Festive Apples, Cranberries and Chardonnay Saute
(created for Longview Farm Market Farm to Table event)
1 lb fresh local apples peeled, cored and sliced thinly
1/2 pint fresh cranberries
1/2 cup dry Chardonnay
1 tsp cinnamon
4 tablespoons honey (or to taste)
Place thinly sliced apples in saute pan, place over low to medium heat and add in wine, cranberries, cinnamon, honey, Saute until cranberries have popped and apples are tender. Liquid should evaporate. Serve with vanilla yogurt as a dessert or as a side dish to roasted turkey or chicken..
