Bevanda: CAFFE ALL'ARANCIA (ORANGE FLAVORED COFFEE)

After dinner drink:
4 juicing oranges (preferably organic)
1 piece of lemon peel
1 cinnamon stick
1 clove
1 vanilla bean
2-½ cups pure alcohol (for liquor)
¾ cup sugar
½ cup spring, distilled or purified drinking water

Finely grate orange peel; only use the orange part being careful not to take any white membrane, which will make this bitter. Juice oranges and filter juice through a cheesecloth or gauze. Place in pitcher with lemon peel, orange peel, alcohol. Mix with long wooden spoon, cover and let sit for 1 day. Boil the water and dissolve sugar, let cool. When cool, place sugar syrup into alcohol mix and let sit for 1 month. Be sure it is in a tightly closed bottle you will have to shake the bottle to mix every few days.

After 1 month, filter liquor through cheesecloth or gauze. Place in liquor bottle and let stay for another month. Then serve. Place 1 tablespoon of liqueur in your favorite cup of espresso!
